June Angelides wears a lot of hats: she is a banker, turned entrepreneur, turned early stage tech investor, who was awarded an MBE in 2020 for services to women in technology. I was eager to hear her book tips. In our podcast conversation, she told me: “I’m at my best when I’m learning something new.” She recommends the books Thinking In Bets, by Annie Duke, a former poker player who shares how to make better decisions; and Mindset, by Carol Dweck, about shifting towards a growth mindset to be more successful. I really enjoyed both books – they make you think.
