Wimbledon’s back

I love the Wimbledon tennis championships. My son and I managed to get returned tickets after standing in line on the second Wednesday of the tournament two years ago (see above). We got to wander the grounds, watch some veterans play (Martina and Mary Joe!), applaud the ball boys and girls as they left the grounds, and wave to Roger Federer when we caught a glimpse of him on his way to a press conference. But the best part was sitting on Henman Hill/Murray Mound, watching the big screen and taking it all in. Tennis is such an international sport.

We even got to chat with Simon Cambers, the guest in our Wimbledon special podcast episode, from the press room. I loved hearing his impressions on Wimbledon this year, after last year’s cancellation.
