30 Sep How journalist Hazel Sheffield finds – and funds – inspiring stories
I enjoyed interviewing Hazel Sheffield for the Financial Times for an article about changing funding models in journalism. I was so impressed by her enterprising reporting, not to mention her entrepreneurialism. She finds amazing tales of social entrepreneurs all over Britain, like her FT report on the Onion Collective, a group of women in west Somerset who are creating jobs and art spaces through creativity and passion. And Hazel finds grants to fund her reporting, which sets her apart as a true entrepreneurial journalist. I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.
